Following his early education in Delhi, Anirudh Yadav pursued an engineering degree from IIT Delhi. Inspired by his brother, he then embarked on his journey to prepare for the civil service examination. Despite facing initial setbacks in three attempts, he persevered and achieved remarkable success in his fourth attempt, securing an impressive 8th rank in the prestigious examination.

Anirudh emphasised the importance of self-belief and advised aspiring candidates to maintain faith in themselves throughout the long journey of cracking UPSC CSE.

While Anirudh excelled in his commitment to studies, he also recognized the significance of self-care. He emphasised the need to prioritise physical and mental well-being to sustain the drive and focus required for success. Adequate sleep, proper nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle were among his recommendations to enhance performance during the challenging training phase.

Aniruddh Yadav Struggles and Challenges

Reflecting on his challenges, he shared how he dedicated extensive hours to studying in the days preceding the exam, sometimes spending as much as 16 to 17 hours per day immersed in his books. The real struggle, however, lay in maintaining consistency and embracing the repetition day after day, as he discovered it to be the crucial element for success.

One of the major hurdles he encountered was the limited time he could spend with his family and friends, which proved to be a significant sacrifice. Another challenge he faced was striking a balance between his studies and his passion for sports, as occasionally it posed a conflict with his study time.

According to Anirudh, aspiring UPSC candidates must invest substantial effort in effectively covering the extensive syllabus. He emphasised the significance of consistency and the necessity of following a well-structured study schedule.
